What Is a Wallet?
A "wallet" is a system used to manage assets on a blockchain. In Avacus, you can create and manage multiple accounts within a single wallet.
Wallets created by generating a seed phrase in Avacus have the following features:
- You can create and manage multiple accounts within a wallet
- You can restore your wallet using the seed phrase
- You can manage the accounts within the wallet collectively
So, What Is an Account?
In Avacus, an account refers to an individual account created and managed within a wallet. Each account has an address used for sending and receiving assets on the blockchain.
- You can create multiple accounts within a wallet
- Each account has a different address
- You can manage assets separately through each account
When Using Avacus with Web3Auth
When using Avacus with Web3Auth and a platform account such as Google or Apple, the setup works differently from a wallet created using a seed phrase.
In Avacus, Web3Auth is used to create an account. By authenticating with a platform account such as Google or Apple, you can access the account you created.
- An account is created using Web3Auth
- You can use the account without a seed phrase
- You can authenticate using a platform account such as Google or Apple
In this way, Avacus provides two methods: creating a wallet using a seed phrase, and creating an account using Web3Auth.
Keep important information such as your private key and seed phrase secure and never share it with anyone.
