About Wallets Created via Platform Accounts

Avacus allows users to access Web3 easily using platform accounts such as Google and Apple.

What Is Web3Auth?

Web3Auth is a technology that allows users to create and access a Web3 wallet using platform accounts such as Google and Apple.

With a traditional Web3 wallet, users need to manage a seed phrase or private key themselves. With Web3Auth, users can access their wallet by authenticating with an account they already use, without having to manage a seed phrase.

Creating an Account in Avacus

In Avacus, users can create an account using Web3Auth with platform accounts such as Google and Apple.

By signing in with a platform account, users can access and use a Web3 wallet within Avacus.

Unlike a wallet created using a traditional seed phrase, this method does not require users to record and manage a seed phrase themselves.

If you lose access to the platform account you use to sign in with Google, Apple, or another provider, this may also affect your ability to access your wallet. Make sure to manage your platform account credentials and security settings appropriately.
